Made for All – Pride Collection 2022 & The Trevor Project Partnership

Pride Month is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to announce the drop of our 2022 Pride collection and our continued partnership with The Trevor Project! At rue21, we celebrate inclusivity and community as part of our core values and are proud to empower both our associates and our customers of all identities to express their authentic selves every day. Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ community, are an ally, or are still learning, celebrating Pride Month is a way for us to celebrate and support our LGBTQ community.

The Collection

This bold line of graphic tees, shorts, accessories and more is perfect for expressing yourself in a fun and creative way. We’ve got your favorite characters like Stitch and The Looney Tunes, expressive statements and strong messages like #SAYGAY. This collection is made for everyone with sizes XS-4X and fits that complement all body types. Inclusivity is at the heart of our values so it’s crucial to us that everyone can find something they love in this drop. Tell us your favorite pieces from the collection!

The Trevor Project & Resources

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. The Trevor Project also runs TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operates innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

We are so glad to support their essential work by making a $50,000 donation to their cause. Our donation will help increase capacity for TrevorChat, TrevorLifeline and TrevorText—platforms that connect LGBTQ youth in crisis to crucial and immediate counseling. It will fund increased peer support provided by Trevor’s social media network—TrevorSpace.org—which gives young people a safe and welcoming space to connect with other supportive members. Lastly, it will help grow the organization’s volunteer base and ensure volunteers obtain the comprehensive training needed to successfully assist community members.
