Staying home and staying safe has been an adventure (one that’s not totally over yet!). We’ve reminded ourselves to pick up new hobbies, try some TikTok dances, binge-watch Tiger King and learn a lot about what it means to be connected to one another in the world today. But we’re not done with the reminders and pick-me-ups yet, and we’ve got a big one. As restrictions and stay-at-home orders begin to lift… we’re excited to announce that we will have select rue21 stores reopening this week!
We’re excited to announce that on Wednesday, May 13, we will be reopening rue21 stores in areas where local and state governments have given the green light. Opening back up has been as wild as a journey as temporarily closing our stores, so know that we’re doing this with the safety of you and our team being the top priority. We’ve taken every precaution to ensure you’ll get the awesome rue21 shopping experience you love in a healthy, safe space.
In addition to the safety standards above, we’re keeping fitting rooms closed (we know, a bit of a bummer, but we’ve extended our return policy and want to remind you there’s no time limit on exchanges), we’re making hand sanitizer available to everyone in the store and have limited the capacity of customers in the store at one time. This means there might be a bit of a line to get in, but it’s worth the wait.
The safety, health and care of our customers and incredible in-store team are so important to us. We’re doing everything we can to assure the entire squad, you included, can walk into one of our stores and get the experience you love in a way that makes you feel comfortable.
